Universities Festival of the Arts Auckland
1972
An installation of 4 shaving mirrors (one in
each corner) and the captains swivel chair (placed
under the naked light bulb) in room 12 of the
old Red Cross Building - venue for the 1972
Universities Festival of the Arts in Auckland.
From each corner the light is reflected back
to the eyes of the sitter. The intention was
to invite questions about where we are, in relationship
to the spaces inside and outside the body.
