KIMBERLEY GRAY - Digging Holes in Grafton Gully. March 1971.

Initially, digging these holes, each about half a metre deep, was part of an investigation of issues to do with displacement and human disturbance of the physical environment. The nature of the work was altered as changes took place, on a conceptual level, during the process of digging. So that it became, more, an investigation of light and time. And therefore more teasing and playful.
