The making and recording
of this video was dedicated to the memory of
Lygia Clark who died April 26, 1988 at her home
in Copacabana.
"How many beings
am I to always be seeking from the other being
which inhibits my realities of contradictions?
How many joys and pains has my body opening
like a giant cauliflower given to the other
being which is secret within myself?
Within my belly lives
a bird, within my breast a lion. The latter
is constantly pacing from side to side. The
bird screeches, squirms and is sacrificed.
The egg continues
to involve it, but now it is the beginning of
the other bird which is immediately born after
death. There isn't even an interval. It is the
feast of life and death intertwined."
