Golden stair refers to the song - 'On the boardwalk'.
I think of it as walking down to the beach,
there is no
beach there, but it is to do with things like
that. That's what it says to me. You can walk
out of it, not into it.
You go in and walk down the stairs and onto
another world. You come out not go in, some
of them you go in.
